Plot:
Set in Atlanta, this thriller stars Sean Young as Dana Greenway, a butch assistant district attorney who goes against orders and travels with cops on their stakeouts. She soon finds herself obsessed with one woman's charges against handsome con man named David Hanover (Patrick Bergin), who is posing as a famous fashion photographer. David somehow manages to seduce and take erotic photos of women. He picks up plain looking women, takes partially nude Polaroids, overpowers them sexually, and steals from them. After the women refuse to face him in court, Dana decides to use herself as bait. Ron Orbach brings great life to his performance as Eugene Tully, Dana's wry detective friend, and Arnetia Walker is terrific as Maria, Dana's ultra femme confidante. Director Lizzie Borden doesn't shy away from showing how most of the women are ashamed because they enjoyed the treatment. Patrick Bergin is perfectly insidious as the imposter. The screenplay is co-written by Allan Moyle who also wrote the real-life story about a case, in the 1970s, in which a man was caught impersonating Richard Avedon. Summary written by Anonymous
